About the Digital Fluency Collective

The Digital Fluency Collective, led by Foundation Layer & CAS Strategies, helps people and communities build the skills and confidence to keep up with technology and use it wisely. The goal is to give everyone a stronger sense of control, trust, and opportunity in a world where both risks and innovations are growing every day. The Collaborative creates simple, practical tools that help people use technology with purpose and awareness. Its first resource, The Digital FluencyToolkit for Families, starts at home and helps families talk about technology, set boundaries, and build safe, thoughtful routines that last.

Equipping the adults kids trust most to cultivate digital fluency, security, and confidence, at every age.

When Screens Outpace Parents, This Is Your Reset Button

Raising kids in today’s digital world can feel overwhelming. New apps and AI tools appear faster than most adults can keep up, and the risks aren’t always obvious. This toolkit is here to make the complex simple—so you can guide with confidence, set healthy boundaries, and start conversations that really matter.

“You don’t need to fear tech. You just need to lead through it.”

— Camille Stewart Gloster
